First of all, I know intimately where you are coming from...you are in a transition. The best definition I have ever heard about transitions is that they are a"nowhere" sandwiched between two "somewheres".  You are not going to stay in this place you find yourself...you are just passing through.  But that is where the simplicity ends.  Untangling yourself from a marriage can be a tricky thing and there is a myriad of things to work through, decide upon, experience, and encounter and unfortunately, few of them are pleasant. This is one of the main reasons that best thing you can do for yourself is find a strong, unbiased support system - one option being working with a life coach who specializes in divorce.

I obtained my formal coaching training through Coach U (www.coachu.com) and have been working as a life coach since 2003. In addition, I hold a B.A. degree in Psychology through Florida International University where I graduated cum Laude along with a certification in Women's Studies. Presently I run my coaching business part-time and attend graduate school where I hope to attain a dual master's degree in mental health counseling and marriage and family therapy.

I encountered my own divorce in 1998 after a 10 year marriage and understand all too well the complexities of uncoupling and starting over.  Divorce impacts every sense of yourself and it is normal and temporary to experience a fragmented self at first.  The goal is to heal, repair, rebuild, and renovate these fragments into something new and useful for your new life.  This is where I, as your life coach, come in.  Together, we create and work a plan tailored towards your specific needs and goals and we work it, until it works!

Testimonials:

"I don't think you will ever know how much you helped me during those dark, dark days.  Our phone conversations were often the only thing keeping me afloat.  You are a wonderful coach".  Kathy

"Before working with you I didn't know if I was coming or going.  You helped me find direction and were the only one to truly acknowledge how difficult this whole ordeal had been.  You are terrific at what you do!"  Linda

"You have a gift at making a person feel like they can do anything and then actually helping them accomplish it!  You helped shine a light into the black hole and then encouraged me to walk through it. I will never forget everything you taught me".  Jessica
